When you don't have the time or patience to crack out the saddle soap try using Baby Wet Wipes to quickly take the dirt off your saddle and bridles. It does a good job without drying out the leather.
If it is gentle enough to use on Babies it is certainly fine for your saddle.

A Handy Horse Tip for Winter Riders
This is my first time Blogging, I am hoping to exchange ideas, thoughts and helpful tips when it comes to training and dealing with horses. Here's one for you:
Spray a little non stick cooking spray on the bottom of your horses hooves before you head out on the trail. The spray prevents snow from packing and sticking to the bottom of your horses hoof.
